VeroLago
VeroLago is a residential “Green” community in Vero Beach, FL. The site has very unstable sandy soils that easily erode when exposed to both wind and rain. Repetitive grading of slopes during construction was required after storm events.
USEPS was contracted to stabilize the shores of three community lakes during development and a steep canal running along the property edge.
The lakes and drainage canal capture stormwater runoff that flows to the Indian River, an environmentally sensitive watershed due to excess nutrient inputs.
The Indian River Water Control District was especially pleased with the results of canal stabilization and vegetation establishment on banks due to improvements in water quality.
